Aman Budhraja- Placement Success Story

Aman has been an absolute marketing geek. After spending 15 months in an organization as part of the marketing department, he knew that he had found his area of interest and passion. However, he also realized that ‘there was a lot more to learn,’ for which he decided to go for a course with a marketing specialization. ‘I wanted an institute that would not just give me theoretical knowledge, but also hone my skills and provide me a platform for developing my personality,’ he added. He took admission in FIIB to fulfill his career aspirations, and soon his ‘dreams turned into reality’.

He has recently been placed with Gold Plus Group as a Sales & Marketing Management Trainee. He is elated about his placement and cannot wait to begin his dream career. Gold Plus began its journey in 1985 and is the first 100% Indian ownership company to manufacture float glass. The company’s products include Float Glass, Mirror, Frosted Glass, Clear Reflective Glass, Architectural processed glass, Auto processed glass and Lacquered glass.

Fun Fact– Aman was the senior Co-head of Brand Rovers- the marketing club, as a part of which he and his team organized the National Marketing Conference. He was also selected for the Fortune Leadership Program. Not just this, he also anchored the annual college fest- Samavesh.

He feels that the ‘live projects and internships provided by CMC FIIB’ have been the most crucial factor that contributed to his success as they helped him ‘get an edge over others.’ He has worked hard for this accomplishment with the highest number of projects in his batch- a total of 6 live projects and internships. He is a true inspiration for his juniors!

Further, being a part of the Student Placement Advisory Committee helped him to ‘understand the functioning of the corporate sector in greater detail’. ‘FIIB has given me endless opportunities, and all I had to do was to utilize them and perform well,’ he shared.

He also shared with us that his most memorable experience has been the Acculturation Program with Sam Walton School of Business, USA. The opportunity to learn about their culture and share our own values and heritage broadened his perspective. He believes that today he is ‘much more confident’ and loves to ‘interact with new people from around the globe’.
