FDP on Multivariate Data Analysis for Management Researchers

Dr. Tuhin Chattopadhyay, Associate Professor-Marketing at FIIB conducted a Faculty Development Program on “Multivariate Data Analysis for Management Researchers” The objective of the program was to equip the participants with the knowledge of research methodology and hands-on experience of SPSS for conducting business research and to guide the participants with the techniques of writing research papers and the tricks to get them published The Program included exclusive sessions on hands-on Training on SPSS and the publication process. The program started on 16th August morning with Introduction to Research Methodology followed by introduction to SPSS through T-test & Chi-square Test. The immediate post lunch session was on ANOVA [One Way ANOVA, Randomized Block Design & Factorial Design] through SPSS. The last session of the day was on An Introduction to Multivariate Analysis.

The morning session of 17th August started with An Introduction to Multivariate Analysis followed by Discriminant Analysis through SPSS The post lunch session were on Factor Analysis through SPSS and “How to Write Research Paper and Get It Published?”. The last session was a valedictory session where the certificates were distributed.

The Faculty Development Program was attended by Research Scholars, Professors and Lecturers from Universities across the country including IIT-Roorkee, Delhi Technical University, Sharda University, Jaipuria Institute of Management, Lucknow and Deen Dayal Upadhyaya College.

The sessions were full of erudite interaction and discourse on the applications of advanced statistics on solving business problems. It was also lauded for its technical sessions and the knowledge it disseminated.
