FIIB Faculty Feature

Best academic institutes are known for their ranking, infrastructure, placement process and various facilities but what constitutes the true worth of an institute is the faculty that shapes and nurtures its students’ caliber. And these teachers and mentors also work incessantly to hone and polish their own skills and learning, to be further able to guide the students in the right direction.

Recently, at FIIB we saw many of our faculty members going out of their usual ways to sharpen their learning and brought accolades home.

Our Marketing faculty Dr. Nimit Gupta was recently honored with an award for Management Researcher of the Year 2016 by IARDO for his research contributions in the field of management. And  our  strategy and entrepreneurship faculty Prof. Arun Sangwan was mentioned as the ‘Inner Circle member’ in Ed McLaughlin’s book on startups called – The Purpose is Profit. Ed McLaughlin founded United Systems Integrators (USI) Corporation, a corporate real estate outsourcing firm and Fortune 500 Company.

On the other hand, another Operations’ faculty Prof. Nitin Sachdeva’s recent research work got accepted and published in the Springer Journal – International Journal of System Assurance Engineering and Management (IJSAEM), and Dr. Amiya Kumar Mohapatra, faculty- Strategy and Entrepreneurship, edited books such as “Contemporary Issues in Business and Economy” and “Emerging Trends in Management and Public Policy” published by Regal Publications, New Delhi.

These and many more achievements of our diverse faculty has brought FIIB on the forefront of leading management education. Apart from regular classroom teaching, the FIIB faculty also engages with its students with various mentor-mentee programs which include field visits, contributions to case studies, paper publishing and participating in various conferences and conclaves.
