FIIBians host the Division Officers’ Training Program for Toastmasters International

After having spent an entire working week at FIIB, some of us came back to FIIB on 15th July, a Sunday to spend another working day. It was the occasion of having the opportunity to host the Division Officers’ Training Program for Toastmasters International.

Two students of the batch 2011-2013, Richa Mathur and Asim Agha were praised and appreciated as they were the hosts for the entire day. They were appreciated by the guests for their meticulous efforts as emcees of the event. On Sunday, FIIB saw a turnout of over seventy five Toastmasters from across the city for a daylong event where the officers heading fifteen Toastmasters clubs across Delhi were trained in order to help them being efficient leaders. FIIB Faculty, Akshita Agrawal was one of the trainers who trained the Vice Presidents of the clubs. She was praised for her training session by the leaders heading Toastmasters in India.

Eight officers from the batch 2012-2014 also attended the session. They gained widely from this experience. They are now well equipped with a vision and mission in mind to take the Cue clubs of Toastmasters to greater heights.

It was a proud moment for us as our students were acknowledged for their hardwork, the faculty appreciated for her training abilities and the Institute felicitated for its support.

It was in 2011, that FIIB chartered three Toastmasters clubs on campus for its students, hence becoming the only club in the entire country to own multiple clubs. FIIB is now a pioneer in the field of education as it boasts of such a wonderful, focused and well planned Toastmasters program.

It was a weekend well spent as we learnt the importance of being good leaders, got to know about the opportunities that will help us test those skills and discovered tools that will support us to master the skill.
