Prestigious Scholarship Recipient to Pursue Career in Sales

Anshika Bhatnagar’22 (Delhi) has chosen to start her professional career with Naukri.com as a Senior Executive in Corporate Sales over other promising industries that came to FIIB campus and offered Sales & Business Development roles that she is interested in: FMCG, Paints, Consulting & Research, E-Commerce etc.

An erudite student who has opted for HR as her minor specialization and Marketing as her major specialization, Anshika has bagged the overall topper award of PGDM 2018-19 session and was one amongst the five recipients of R.K. Shrivastava Scholarship award. She excelled in all the terms of the PGDM Program at FIIB with very good GPA scores – 9.6 in Term 1, 8.57 in Term 2, 9.0 in Term 3, and 9.06 in Term 4 – earning an average CGPA score of 9.05

“FIIB offers many career-preparatory opportunities to its students that introduce every student to their best version,”  says Anshika Bhatnagar, Second-year student at FIIB

“I credit FIIB for giving me the right tools to develop skills needed to be a leader in the corporate space,” she said. “With the kind of guidance and mentorship faculty provides here, FIIB has definitely prepared me for the academic rigors of college as well as the experiential demands of the corporate world. In particular, the numerous conclaves as a learning opportunity and my busy school timetable taught me several valuable skills with regard to time management, communication, organizational awareness, and better planning.”

Outside the classroom, Anshika proposed solutions to resolve employability issues of underprivileged students at Udayan Care IT centres, worked on B2B sales to improve order placement of Amul beverages in South Delhi, participated in marketing fair and won first prize, and traveled to Dubai for Global Immersion Program

Anshika had stage fear when she joined FIIB, but now she recalls giving presentations in class and volunteering as an emcee in conclaves as her most cherished memories of the business school. In her belief, “FIIB offers many career-preparatory opportunities to its students that introduce every student to their best version. The sense of accountability that any student should have in their college life is something that FIIB imparted in each one of us way before our actual career-ride begins.”

The aspects of FIIB that Anshika said she will miss the most are the supportive community, beauty of the campus, and the industry-focused curriculum. She thanks all her faculty in influencing and encouraging her in one invaluable way or another.
