Student Feature: Being best!

Placement was my only priority before joining FIIB, but here, I gained much more than just a successful placement. FIIB in-fact helped me with providing ample opportunities to identify what industry and career path would be best suited for me, and of course prepared me for the entire placement procedure.

My PGDM journey has been awesome. Right from the induction process every day we were given a new challenge which ultimately became a new learning opportunity for me. Here I found friends for life, teachers as mentors and who guided me in every possible way around. Here I learned new dimensions of learning with fun which make my life stress free and enjoyable. I can easily recall instances where my friends and I didn’t feel like going home for long vacation, as we used to miss college and of course our gang of friends.

My fondest memory of being at FIIB was to be elected as Co – Head of Sigma Club (Operations/IB) where I lead a team with lots of innovative ideas and did some amazing activities and conclaves. And also being no. 1 master chef during my induction program although I dint know anything about cooking, but I learnt exceptionally fast. My success mantra has always been to stay focused on what you actually want and give your best, irrespective of whatever hurdle or challenge comes your way. Many new habits which I picked up here like reading newspaper every day, became the stepping stone of my knowledge of current affairs, and even helped me during the interview rounds. Also the friends and teachers here really inspired me to bring out the best in me. Needless to say I am grateful to FIIB for helping me secure a job at Edelweiss, one of the reputed organizations I always wanted to work with.
