1.What do you feel about the recent placement?

It is an overwhelming feeling. Reasons for choosing Fortune Institue of International Business for my PGDM were many; however, FIIB’s assurance of 100% placement was a primary reason. The faculty and the career management center at FIIB  has been a guiding force and supportive in my preparation for the interview and the placement. Apart from the course training, the specific training for placements also included enhancing my soft skills and grooming to be industry ready. The team advised me and helped in choosing the appropriate career options for the job after assessing my potential and requirements.  The guidance, support, suggestion and the advice have been a major contribution in me being placed in the company “Coral Research”, as an Executive (Qualitative) Researcher.

2.How has FIIB helped shape you after the two years journey?

FIIB has helped me build my confidence after assessing my potential to be able to face the industry as a complete professional after the completion of my MBA. It has helped me realize my capability along with the other facets of me. FIIB has developed me into a confident realistic, dynamic mature professional. Mentoring by the faculty has provided me a clear understanding of industry requirements. Immense support of faculty has helped me plan my career.  My institute has nurtured the leadership skills in me and has made me competent enough to sail in the ocean of the industry competitiveness. It is also an advantage to have an active alumni cell and supportive seniors who guided me through the course. The overall experience at FIIB has helped me identify the ‘new me’, and given a new ‘professional’ me to beat the rough waves of the industry.

 3.What is your success mantra?

My mantra of success is to be simple, punctual, hardworking, dedicated, persistent and follow the instructions of all my mentors as much as I can.

4.What is the fondest memory of being at FIIB?

My fondest memories of FIIB are the daily routine, running up and down the  stairs,  just making to reach the class on time, chatting in canteen, group discussions in library, anxiety in the examination hall, arguing with classmates on AC’s temperature, discussions with friends on every possible topic and of course the Dubai tour.
