Your faith must be stronger than your fear. Be courageous!

Tell us something about your journey in FIIB. What made you choose International Business?

“My journey in FIIB was profound and promising. I used to be an extremely shy guy. Hence, interacting with various people coming from different stations of life, was a big deal for me. My interaction with my batch mates and faculty helped me in discovered fresh perceptions of life. In FIIB, I made friends for a lifetime. All of my time in FIIB simply contributed to strengthening my foundation. Once, I post graduated from the institution, the depth of my drive to do something ‘of my own and on my own’ was remarkable. Eventually I gained my professional vision for  which all the credit and reverence goes to FIIB. During my time, 1996-98, FIIB offered only one specialization which was International Business. I must say that IB is one of the most advantageous specializations that is bound to generate excellent careers. “

What were your expectations from your career? Did they differ from reality?

“Well, everything cannot be covered by books and classrooms. Basic information gets coded in you like how to formally interact with the different departments and verticals of an organization. In the corporate world, you require to put your potential and knowledge to multiply your existing skills. With situations one learns how and where to apply your intelligence. You become wiser with time and every decision you make, be it right or not right.”

What fond memories did your visit to FIIB awaken?

“The campus is not the same. But, the feel and essence of FIIB has not changed. I miss my professors. I wish I                    could relive those days. I am grateful to my time in FIIB as it has polished me into a better individual in every sense of the word. “

What advice would you offer to students who take #NoHypeMBA at FIIB?

“First and foremost, just believe in yourself. No individual is born with knowledge. Make mistakes or else how will you ever learn? Be courageous while expressing yourself. There is no requirement to filter your thoughts just because you think differently. Infuse confidence in yourself. Question every ‘’no’’ and ‘impossible situation’ with “Why not?”.Think positive and always be grateful. Help others and allow your faith to be stronger than your fear in every moment of your life. All the best!”“Question every ‘’no’’ and ‘impossible situation’ with a “Why not?”. Think positive and always be grateful.”
